Blackberry has launched it’s new smartphone BlackBerry KEYone at MWC 2017, Barcelona on this Saturday. This is the last smartphone designed in-house by BlackBerry because company announced its decision to end smartphone design and development. The company took the decision in September 2016 and decided to focus to license the brand to partners such as TCL.

BlackBerry KEYone will be available from 1st week of April 2017 and it’s cost around $549 (US), GBP 499 (UK) and EUR 599.
The device comes with Android 7.1 Nougat. Other number of productivity and security optimization such as BlackBerry Hub and DETK security monitoring app are also available. Blackberry’s approach of smart keyword with finger sensor on the spacebar is an effective way of reaching market for good sale. This smartphone also has capacitive touch on the keyboard for scrolling. Users can have shortcuts on the keyboard like user can press “b” for browser, may be with just a press or long press.
Blackberry KEYone smartphone is built with 32GB memory space which could be expandable upto 2TB. The smartphone is also following the new trend of TYPE-C USB, so this smartphone also has TYPE-C USB. Battery is 3505 mAh which is said to last an entire day and supports “QuickCharge 3.0” with boost charging which is similar to OnePlus 3 Dash charging. Connectivity features are similar to other smartphones with 4G (LTE), WiFi and Bluetooth.
The smartphone is fitted with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC clocked at 2GHz, Coupled with 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 506 GPU. BlackBerry KEYone consist of two camera, 13 megapixels rear and 8 megapixel front. The camera features are considered to be similar to Google Pixel that has 1.55 million and also has Sony IMX378 sensor. BlackBerry smartphone KEYone brigths with a display resolution of 4.5-inch full-HD (1620×1080 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 433ppi.
