HMD Global, the company responsible for developing Nokia-branded smartphones has recently unveiled the Nokia 7 in China. Looks like the company is all set to unveil Nokia 7 globally, that too soon enough.
HMD Global, the Finnish manufacturer, will roll out the mobile phone worldwide in the early half of 2018. Nevertheless, at Nokia 2’s launch, the HMD’s global chief marketing officer Pekka Rantala mentioned,
Nokia 7 is designed for Chinese consumers, so currently we’ve no plans to bring it to India.
So, there still needs clarity as to whether the firm will unveil the Nokia 7 in India or not.
The Nokia 7 is priced at 7 CNY 2,499 and CNY 2,699 for the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM model, in China respectively. The mobile is offered in Glassy Black and Matte White variants. The device further carries Series 7000 Aluminium build, which the company claims is the strongest in the alignment.
The device functions on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. Similar to other Nokia mobiles, Nokia 7 will also be updated with Android 8.0 Oreo operator. The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch full-HD 1080×1920 pixels resolution. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top protects the surface of the handset.
The smartphone is fueled by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM. Nokia 7 provides 64GB internal storage that you can expand using a microSD card. The mobile flaunts a 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, Carl Zeiss lens, and LED flash. The handset offers a 5MP front-facing shooter for selfies.
Just as Nokia 8, the Nokia 7 also uses a Bothie feature. The Bothie feature fixates the front as well as the rear camera in a split screen visual for photos as well as videos. You can activate this feature in just a touch. It further assures a more engrossing experience with live streaming on Facebook and YouTube.
The device is packed with a 3000mAh battery. It provides VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth, and GPS for connectivity options.
