The smartphone is first 6-inch FHD+ full-screen display and a high-resolution 2160 x 1080 dpi screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. This feature gives user a powerful visual enjoyment without the need to increase the of the phone. The OPPO F5 is slim enough to fit in the palm, expressing a simple and stylist look.

Talking about the facial recognition technology, OPPO F5 smartphone comes with facial recognition technology to unlock the phone. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the phone which gives full way to the front screen.

F5 is powered by Color OS 3.2 and comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM. The Octa-core processor gives high performance and uses less energy. F5 is packed with 3200 mAh battery with continuous optimization technology which manages the apps running on the device. The device consist of three trays which includes 2 nano SIM card slot and 1 TF card simultaneously.

F5 also comes with a O-share file sharing feature which is 100 times faster than Bluetooth. For example, take 0-10 pictures, 3 MB each, can be transferred between OPPO phones within 1 second. Multitasking feature is one of the most needed feature, F5 comes with split screen feature where two apps can run at the same time.

The smartphone is priced at INR 19,990 for Gold and Black edition which will go on sale from November 9th and will be available online and offline. Two other models were also launched at the event, the F5 6GB edition INR 24,990 (Red and Black Edition) and the F5 Youth (Black and Gold Edition) to give OPPO fans and the youth more choices to suit their needs. These two variants will be available in December.

HMD Global, the Finnish company that’s responsible for manufacturing Nokia devices, has launched Nokia 2 yesterday, 31 October, 2017. The device is a budget smartphone and it comes with some promising features in every department.

With the Nokia 2, HMD Global wants to cover the ultra-cheap smartphone segment to increase its market share in India.

Nokia 2 is fueled by Snapdragon 212. It also has an Adreno 304 GPU. The RAM is expected to be 1GB RAM, along with 8 GB of internal storage.

The handset is powered by 4100 mAh battery. The company claims 2 days’ worth of battery life, if the phone is used for 5 hours a day. Nokia 2 sports a 5-inch HD screen. It has a contrast ratio of 13000:1 and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It houses an 8-megapixel primary camera with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Nokia 2 runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1, which is a first for a phone in this budget section. The company wishes to keep the device future proof, meaning Nokia 2 will also receive the update for Android Oreo soon enough.

Other than the stock Android, the Nokia 2 will also offer Google Assistant. It will have an option to get search results in Hindi as well. The voice assistant has been featured for the first time in a budget mobile. The mobile will also support LTE 4G.

Coming to the design, Nokia 2 is shaped from 6000 series of aluminum. It further has a polycarbonate backside. The mobile will be available in White, Copper, and Black, variants.

The Nokia 2 will cost 99 euros for global markets, which sums around 7,000 INR. The device will be available for purchase from mid-November. The price for Indian markets is not yet revealed. Nokia 2 may be priced somewhere between 6,000 to 6,500 INR.

10.or G launched with Snapdragon 626 SoC, Dual Rear Cameras at INR 10,999

10.or which is also pronounced as Tenor has launched 10.or G in the Indian market. The company entered the Indian market after the launch of 10.or E, earlier this month. 10.or G is aimed to target mid-range buyers just like Xiaomi. After 10.or G launch, it seems to be a competitor to Xiaomi in the Indian market.

With two different variants of the smartphone based on RAM and internal storage, 10.or G comes with a price tag of INR 10,999 and INR 12,999.

With a minor upgrade over the most famous Snapdragon 625 SoC, the smartphone is hopped-up by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC. 10.or G is listed in few of the smartphones that comes with Snapdragon 626 SoC in India. The chipset is combined with Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone is fitted with 5.5 inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover on the top.

10.or G has two variants 3GB and 4GB. The 3GB variant comes with 32GB internal storage and the 4GB variant comes with 64GB internal storage with microSD expansion up to 128GB. Dolorously, the smartphone has a hybrid-dual SIM setup.

Talking about the camera, 10.or G cameras is placed at the back. The smartphone has two 13MP sensors at the rear, along with a capable 16MP selfie camera at the front. The two sensors at the back capture images with bokeh effect and the secondary 13MP sensor is a monochrome sensor for detailed black and white shots. Both the rear and front-facing cameras are paired with an LED flash.

10.or G runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and is upgradable to Android Oreo. It also has fingerprint sensor which is placed at the back of the phone just like Redmi Note 4. The device is packed with 4000mAh battery.

The 10.or G will be available in two colour options- Beyond Black and Go Grey. The device is currently available for pre-registration and will be up for sale from September 29.

Infinix recently launched Note 4 in August 2017. The Infinix Note 4 is hooped-up by 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6753 processor and it comes along with 3GB RAM. With 32GB internal storage, the smartphone is expandable upto 128GB via microSD card. The Infinix Note 4 is packed with 4300mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0

The smartphone is fitted with 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. The smartphone comes with a 5.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 387 pixels per inch. Infinix Note 4 price in India starts from Rs. 8,999.

Connectivity features includes WiFi, GPS, USB OTG, Bluetooth and 4G to support LTE networks in India which uses band 40. Infinix Note 4 holds dual SIM slot both Micro-SIM and both supports either GSM or CDMA. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

OnePlus is all set to launch its new flagship smartphone OnePlus 5 on 22nd June 2017 in Mumbai. The company is gradually disclosing OnePlus 5 features to keep the excitement on. Latest information about OnePlus 5 is its price, the smartphone will be priced at INR 37,999 (approximately). The global launch of OnePlus 5 is on 20th June 2017 in New York. The smartphone’s specifications are leaked earlier, some are confirmed and some are not yet confirmed.

Based on the leaks of OnePlus 5 images, it seems to be that OnePlus 5 will look like iPhone 7 in terms of its design. Earlier OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said that OnePlus 5 is going to be extremely thin, or in other words the thinnest OnePlus phone.

OnePlus 5 comes with snapdragon 835, this leak was confirmed by OnePlus and Qualcomm, which makes the processor. Pete Lau has also confirmed that the OnePlus 5 comes with FullHD display screen (1080p). Though OnePlus has not talked about the panel but it is expected the smartphone will have AMOLED panel.

Apart from these two confirmed leaks, rest leaks are still unconfirmed. The amount of internal storage and RAM OnePlus will be giving is yet not confirmed. But it is almost sure that OnePlus 5 will come in two variant 64GB internal storage with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with 8GB RAM.

It is expected that the smartphone will be packed with a 16 mega-pixel dual camera. The OnePlus 5 will also come with Dash charging feature, a fingerprint scanner, and (almost certain) a 16-megapixel camera similar to the front camera of the OnePlus 3T. Carl Pei co-founder of OnePlus has confirmed that OnePlus 5 is also expected to come with the USB C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Oxygen OS is what OnePlus uses in its phones in India and it is expected that OnePlus 5 will also come with Oxygen OS based on Android 7.1 Nougat.


OnePlus 5 will launch on 22nd June 2017 in India at NSCI Mumbai. The phone will be available for sale on the same day of launch from 4:30PM on Amazon India Store and OnePlus India Store.

Paytm Payments Bank – All You Need To Know

Reserve Bank of India(RBI) has given final approval to Paytm to launch Paytm Payments Banks. The company is set to launch Paytm Payments Bank on 23rd May 2017, its holding company One97 Communications Pvt. Ltd said on Wednesday. Vijay Shekhar Sharma – Founder and CEO of Paytm is awarded with the payments bank licence. Under this licence the company will transfer its wallet business to the newly incorporated payments bank entity, as per the guidelines of Central Bank.

Customers using the payment wallet will see it move to the Paytm Payments Bank Limited in the same capacity and have the option of discontinuing their wallet services with due communication sent to the company by May 23rd.

What will happen to the money in Paytm wallets?
The money will be transferred to the Paytm Payments Bank Limited as the wallet business will become part of the new company. It will happen automatically, and you need not do anything.

Will the Paytm app change?
No. The user experience will remain the same as the app will continue to work as it does. You will continue to use it to pay for taxi, fuel, food, etc. the same way.

What will change then?
The wallet business will get transferred to the new company but will keep running as it is.

Will I get a bank account number, chequebook , debit card, etc.?
Only if you opt to open an account with the new payments bank of the company. Otherwise, your wallet will keep working as it is. The company will give you an option to open a separate account. You will earn interest on your money if you choose to open a payments bank account.

How is a payments bank different from the usual bank?
A payments bank cannot lend or give advance to customers. It can issue cheque books and debit cards but not credit cards. There is a limit on the money you can keep in your account. You cannot keep more than Rs 1 lakh in the Paytm payments bank. The purpose behind these banks is to provide quick and basic banking services to the people at the bottom.

Samsung Launches It’s QLED TV Range In India


Samsung brings its new range of Television named as QLED TV and says that this TV is far better than OLED TV. It was initially showcased at CES 2017 event in Barcelona. Samsung asserted that QLED TV is best at representing image quality and viewing experience till date. The television will be available in three models – Q7, Q8 and Q9 with different sizes – 55”, 65”, 75” and 88” inches.

The QLED TV features with new Metal Quantum Dot technology and 100% color volume. Whats does 100% color volume means? It defines as a three-dimensional representation that illustrates the color reproduction capacity of a display at all of its brightness levels, the color volume is also an important standard for ensuring that content is displayed in the way the producer intended.

At a event in Delhi, Samsung representative verified QLED TV 100% color volume by demonstrating the difference between OLED TV brightness level and QLED TV brightness. The demonstration showcased that the DCI-P3 color space can be expressed regardless of differing levels of brightness, ensuring that HDR images can be viewed in the way the content director intended.


Samsung QLED TV comes with HDR 2000, with this feature each hidden details in the brightest and darkest scene can be seen clearly. With advanced CPU processor and enhanced algorithm, the brightness of the TV matches its requirement.


On the software end, Samsung’s 2017 TVs are still powered by Tizen, with the same user interface as last year. But there are some new additions like a sports mode that aggregates scores and other content from your favorite teams and an expanded Music section that lets you Shazam music as it’s playing in a TV show and immediately launch that track in Spotify or any other streaming services.
