Motorola has launched the Moto X4 in India. It is the fourth generation of Motorola’s X series smartphones. The device starts at 20,999 INR. The Moto X4, unlike its predecessors, is a mid-range smartphone. It has a metal and glass design, a near stock build of Android, some natty Bluetooth tricks, and dual camera at the rear, among other things.
The smartphone will be exclusively available through Flipkart. You can also purchase it at Motorola’s MotoHub retail stores.
The device will come in two variants. The 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage model is priced at 20,999 INR. The 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage model costs 22,999 INR.
The Moto X4 has got rid of the plastic and rubber construction of its precursors. Instead, it uses a glass and glass pattern.
Moto X4: Specs and Features
The Moto X4 runs on the octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor, which is coupled with 3/4GB of RAM. It also uses Adreno 508 GPU. The device is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery, and it also supports the TurboCharge facility. The mobile flaunts 5.2-inch Full HD display, using a Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone offers 32/64GB of internal storage. You can expand this up to 2TB using a microSD card.
The Moto X4 functions on a near stock build of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Additionally, it offers blue light filter, and kinesics like karate chop to use the camera. The mobile offers a dual camera setup at the rear panel. It has a primary 12MP sensor, plus a secondary 8MP 120 degree ultra-wide-angle sensor. There’s a 16MP sensor using an LED flash for selfies too.
The Moto X4 comes in that rare mid-range smartphones segments, which comes with IP68 dust and water resistance. So, you can immerse the mobile in up to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes without worrying. The mobile can stream music wirelessly for up to 4 Bluetooth speakers or headphones, simultaneously.
