OPPO has now unveiled its brand new OPPO A83 smartphone in China. The mobile offers a new facial recognition technology. It features a display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will cost around CNY 1,399 (around Rs. 13,700) in China. The mobile will be available in China from 29 December.

The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch, 18:9 ratio display along with an HD+ resolution (1440 x 720 pixels). The mobile operates on Color OS 3.2-based on top of Android 7.1 Nougat. It further stores 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, which you can expand using a microSD card up to 256GB.

The smartphone is first 6-inch FHD+ full-screen display and a high-resolution 2160 x 1080 dpi screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. This feature gives user a powerful visual enjoyment without the need to increase the of the phone. The OPPO F5 is slim enough to fit in the palm, expressing a simple and stylist look.

Talking about the facial recognition technology, OPPO F5 smartphone comes with facial recognition technology to unlock the phone. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the phone which gives full way to the front screen.

The smartphone is priced at INR 19,990 for Gold and Black edition which will go on sale from November 9th and will be available online and offline. Two other models were also launched at the event, the F5 6GB edition INR 24,990 (Red and Black Edition) and the F5 Youth (Black and Gold Edition) to give OPPO fans and the youth more choices to suit their needs.
