Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India today, 14 February 2018. We know it for a fact that the Redmi Note 5 is just a refurbished model of Redmi 5 Plus. Note 5 comes with a 6” screen. It further has a Snapdragon 625 chipset.

The huge surprise here is that the Redmi Note 5 Pro will be presented with a Snapdragon 636 processor. The mobile will flaunt a dual camera on the back panel. The camera placement is like that of the iPhone X, in the upper left corner of the handset. It also features a 20 MP selfie snap paneler at the front side.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro packs in an octa-core CPU, which is clocked at 1.8 GHz. It also has an Adreno 509 GPU. Coming to the front, the device flaunts the the same display screen as the Redmi Note 5, which is a 5.99” screen along with a Full HD+ resolution braced under a 2.5D glass along with some software buttons.

At the back, the dual-cam setup units 12 MP + 5 MP, respectively. The first sensor offers an f/2.2 lens along with a 1.25 μm pixel size. The second sensor will provide “focused foreground and creamy blurred backgrounds”, which has the f/2.0 lens along with 1.12 μm pixel size. Xiaomi had presented the 20 MP front camera using a Sony IMX376 sensor, which was further paired with an LED light.

The fingerprint sensor is placed behind the handset, and the power button and volume rocker are positioned on the right hand side. It offers a 4,000 mAh battery, which you can charged with the help of a micro USB at the bottom.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is equipped with MIUI 9 that is based on Android Nougat. The mobile will be made available in Champagne GoldBlue, Rose Gold, and Black color options. As usual, you can avail three memory and price combinations: 3 GB + 32 GB, 4 GB + 64 GB and 6 GB + 64 GB.

Micromax is set to launch the Bharat 5 in the country today, 1 December 2017. The company is hosting an event in Gurugram today to broadcast its new product. Ahead of phone’s arrival, speculations are that it might have a massive battery power.

Micromax first launched its affordable range of smartphones through the Bharat 2 in April. The smartphone offered 4G VoLTE support. The cost of the mobile is 3,499 INR. In the month of September, the company revealed the Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 in the chain. Bharat 2 successfully sold over 2 million handsets. Both the devices were unveiled with Android 7.0 Nougat. They supported 22 Indian languages. The Bharat 3 has a cost price of 4,499 INR. The Bharat 4 was priced at 4,999 INR.

Micromax joined hands with BSNL in the month of October and launched the Bharat 1 feature phone, which supported 4G VoLTE. This phone was manufactured to counter Reliance Industries’ Jio Phone as well as Bharti Airtel’s Karbonn A40. Bharat 1 was sold at a price tag of 2,200 INR.

Y1 Lite is just a lighter version of the Redmi Y-series. The Y1 Lite weighs 150 grams. Y1 Lite’s screen features the same 5.5-inch HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass like the Redmi Y1. The primary camera offers a 13Megapixel shooter.

The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite functions on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425. It offers 2GB of RAM long with 16GB internal memory. The device runs on a 3080mAh battery. The company claims that the battery of the mobile can last for a whole day.
