Lenovo owned Motorola is going to launch its new smartphone Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus at MWC 2017, Barcelona. Moto’s launch is expected to go live at 9:00PM (IST) today and live stream to start at the same time. The event should live stream either from Lenovo’s youtube channel or Moto’s youtube channel. Fans can also find another way to watch the event if the company go live on their Facebook page or Twitter.

Specs & Features

Both the smartphones are expected to have metal bodies with Lenovo branding on the side panels. The most loved Moto “M” logo will still stay at the back of the phone. Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are built with fingerprint sensor with the home button in the front. This devices runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and supports expandable storage upto 128GB via microSD card. The primary camera at the back is having a circular design with dual-LED flash.

Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus will be launched with similar specifications like full-HD screen resolutions, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover for protection, Android 7.0 Nougat, Expandable memory storage. It is expected that this smartphones will come in two colors Lunar Grey and Fine Gold. Few other similarities are water repellent coating, fingerprint scanning and 5 megapixel front camera.

Moto G5

Moto G5 is expected to feature in two variant 16GB/32GB with 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC. It also expected to have 13megapixel rear camera and 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with a pixel density of 441ppi. For all 4G users in India, this smartphone is a good option to buy as it also supports 4G LTE. The smartphone is packed with a battery of 2800mAh with fast charging feature. This smartphone will measure 144.3x73x9.5mm and weigh 145 grams.

Moto G5 Plus

Moto G5 Plus will feature with 12 megapixel camera having dual autofocus feature. This smartphone is quite bigger than Moto G5 as it will come with 5.2-inch full-HD display and 64GB storage. The smartphone will be boosted by 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC and 3000mAh battery with TurboPower charging. It also supports 4G LTE and will 150.2x74x7.9mm and weigh 155 grams.
